Make a hat,

Nancy's Noggin
Nancy lost her battle with pancreatic cancer, but she never gave up hope...
With a smile on her face, she braved treatment for almost two years.
One day she told me how much more comfortable her little
cotton cap was to wear rather than her hot wig.
It made me think about how I could help others...
In Nancy's honor I have started Nancy's Noggin to collect handmade
cancer caps to donate to patients at treatment centers.

Nancy was loving, friendly, giving, bubbly, outgoing, funny, strong,
generous, inspiring, dutiful, helpful, and most of all
LOVED!

Please help to honor Nancy's memory by making a cancer cap to donate!
The caps can be crocheted or knit, simple or embellished, colorful or
plain, cotton or acrylic...as long as they are soft!
All sizes are needed for adults and children of all ages.
The yarn must be new! Please keep caps clean!
Finished hats should be placed in a new ziplocked plastic ba
g to keep them clean since treatment can make patients susceptible to germs.
Collected caps will be
dropped off together at treatment centers.

Help put a smile on someone's face by making a cancer cap today!

N
warm a heart!
If you don't crochet or knit but still want to
help...donations of new yarn, crochet hooks,
knitting needles and two gallon size baggies are
always needed and appreciated!

HOPE

You can use any pattern that you like!
They can be pretty, fancy, simple or silly!
Adults might prefer simple.
Children might prefer a bit of fun!
Cotton or acrylic work best.
But, please remember...always soft, soft, soft
!
